Our client is active in the domain of Services to the construction industry. They are based in Brussels, near Central station. To strengthen their IT team of 14, they are looking for 2 application/project managers.

As an application/project manager, you will join the Applications department of the IT service, where you and your colleagues deliver high-quality IT solutions to support the organization. In this role, you are responsible for managing the applications in your domain, including both new projects and application management of existing solutions.

• In collaboration with the business and suppliers, you define new or modified functional needs.

• You identify the risks and impacts of requested changes.

• You collaborate with your IT colleagues to determine the desired architecture and infrastructure.

• You plan the delivery of requested changes.

• You are responsible for monitoring the activities and applications in your domain and for communicating delivery and change-related information.

• You verify the quality of deliveries by conducting tests according to an agreed test plan.

• You ensure the quality of application management in accordance with internal procedures.

• You are responsible for monitoring contractual agreements with suppliers and agreed budgets.

• You contribute to the management, monitoring, and resolution of user notifications.

• You manage projects and help to steer them.

Vereiste ervaring

• You have a higher education degree, ideally in applied computer science, and/or relevant experience.

• You are proficient in Dutch and French and have passive knowledge of English.

• You are familiar with waterfall and agile project methodologies and the basic concepts of ITIL and service management and can apply them pragmatically.

• You are familiar with SQL and SharePoint.

• You have experience in application management.

• You are proactive and creative in finding solutions and opportunities.

• Knowledge of Microsoft development environment, .Net, C#, BizTalk, Visio, MS Office, business process modeling.
