We are currently seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic customer relationships in Switzerland, focusing on large industrial clients and OEMs. This is not a hunting role—your mission is to protect, deepen, and develop existing accounts, understanding customer needs and aligning them with the company’s technical capabilities and long-term goals.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts in Switzerland.
- Act as the main point of contact for strategic customers in the rail, defense, and drive technology sectors.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through deep understanding of customer processes and future projects.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and customer service to deliver integrated solutions.
- Track market developments, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and regular activity reports.
Expérience requise
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or technical sales in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following markets: rail transport, defense, or electric drives.
- Fluent in German or French and fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a consultative and long-term mindset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable with CRM systems, reporting tools, and digital collaboration platforms.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Switzerland.
